When it comes to picking the perfect Colorado Engagement photography location, it can be a bit overwhelming. It doesn’t have to be though, and can actually be a really exciting experience for you and your future spouse. I’ve compiled a few of my expert tips to help you prepare for these photos and find the perfect location.
Plan Accordingly
The key to making your engagement photography magazine worthy is to plan ahead. What kind of environment are you imagining for your photos? Is it more urban, downtown shots? Or in the mountains with nature? Determine what kind of vibe you want for your images and start your search from there. If you aren’t comfortable hiking but still want outdoor scenes, make sure you can park close to the exact spot you have in mind. Look ahead for parking fees and permit requirements too!
If you don’t mind taking the scenic route for the best views, make sure you bring the right hiking boots for the trip- along with a spare set of shoes for photos. When you look for your engagement photographer, having a pro on hand is extremely helpful. Experienced engagement photographers will be well equipped with the right permits, and will know exactly what time and where to get those dreamy golden hour photos.
