Ready to learn how to have the best wedding ever? Above everything, you should ENJOY the hell out of your wedding. I want you to have a stress free day so that you’re not thinking about the drinks, if we’re getting the pictures you want, or if your guests are having a good time. I want you to be in the moment so that we can capture photos that truly represent you and your friends.
#1 Be you
Do you want to make a PB&J together at your wedding ceremony? Go for it! Maybe you want to elope and plan a full day of adventuring with picnic breaks attended by friends? It doesn’t matter what it is as long as you’re doing what you love to do. If you’re doing your thing I’ll be able to do mine, which is capturing you having the time of your life.
# 2 Roll With It
If experience has told me anything over the last 100+ weddings it’s that things probably won’t go as planned during some moment of the day. The best way to approach it is to think about what is really important that day. It is about you committing yourself to your partner.
# 3 Late Night Snacks
This is so clutch. There’s something special about weddings where there’s a a snack brought out before the night ends. Donuts and coco, cannoli bars, popcorn, or cake pops. It doesn’t matter what you end up bringing out, but trust me when I say your guests will love you for it.
# 4 Hire the best
So hire me! HA! But for real, when its time to hire your wedding vendors you want to be comfortable with them. You’ll be spending the majority of your wedding day around a few of them so always schedule a face to face with you DJ, Photographer, Videographer, and Wedding Planner before you hire anyone to make sure you’re on the same page.
# 5 Hire a Wedding Planner
Let’s be honest for a minute. You’re not expected to know every outs and in of getting married. For most people its their first time and they have no idea what to do other than to google… I got engaged, now what? A wedding planner is there to guide you on your decisions for your wedding and should be the first person you hire after you get engaged. Depending on your level of wants and needs they’ll either be there just as a day of planner or they’ll help you through every single step.
